One of the best decisions we made was to rent candles and work with SoCal Candle Rentals. To be honest I attempted to do this as a DIY project and realized about 3-4 weeks before the wedding it was a lot. When comparing prices, it was just a little more to rent them and absolutely worth it. They set up the candles for you, light them and take them all home at the end of the event.
